   Step 1: Access the South Dakota state government website at www.sd.gov.

   This includes make, year, model, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and title number. , Note that if you are ordering Commercial or Amateur Radio specialty license plates, you must include the date you were issued your FCC license and station call letters.
   
   Indicate which tribe you are affiliated with if ordering Indian Tribal specialty license plates.
