Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Log on to the website of the Wyoming Department of Transportation at www.dot.state.wy.us.

    Note that Pioneer, Novelty, Sample and Street Rod and Custom Vehicle specialty plates can be ordered directly from the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

    Mail completed applications and fees to Wyoming Department of Transportation, 5300 Bishop Boulevard, Cheyenne, WY 82009-3340.

    Send the application for University of Wyoming plates to the University of Wyoming Alumni Association at the address printed at the top of the application.
