  1. Step 1: After you meet the requirements for the quest

    Go and talk to him for more information about the Razor itself. , The pommel is in Dead Crone Rock, directly west of Markarth.

    The Shards are in Cracked Tusk Keep, west of Falkreath. and the Hilt is guarded by a man in Morthal. , (Location will be marked on map) , Do so and then reforge Mehrunes' Razor.

    He will be impressed with you, name you his champion, and give you his razor to terrorize Tamriel with.
  2. Step 2: the courier will come find you and give you a letter telling you that a Mythic Dawn Museum (Oblivion players will connect this to Mehrunes Dagon instantly) has opened up in Dawnstar.

  3. Step 3: When you get to the front door of the museum you will be greeted by Silus

  4. Step 4: and he will talk for a few minutes.

  5. Step 5: Walk over to the display case opposite the door and he will tell you about the sheathe of Mehrunes Razor.

  6. Step 6: You advance the quest to find the Pommel

  7. Step 7: and Shards of the Razor.
