  1. Step 1: Collect all of the materials listed below that you will need for the project.

    It is recommended to use a stairwell where you can drop the egg chamber from at least the height of 12 feet (3.7 m). ,, Tape or glue may be used to keep the materials in place. , Cut the bottom of the egg carton the carton where the two eggs once were held.  Dispose of or cook one of the eggs. Place the 2 bottom tray 'cups'- one on top of and one the bottom of the second egg and tape shut. ,  Seal the box shut with tape on all four sides. , Have the friend record the amount of time it takes for the egg to hit the floor. ,, Record all results. , Make sure to include all of the steps of the Scientific Method (Problem, Hypothesis, Materials, Procedure, Observations, and Results).  Include pictures of you completing the project on your board.

  9. Step 9: Repeat the experiment 2 more times.

  10. Step 10: Buy a presentation board and creatively display your experiment.
