How to Fix Your Bodyshop Settings in Sims

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: For Mac

   Select bodyshop.
   
   Right click and choose 'Show Package Contents'.
   
   For Windows, open your sims 2 application folder or the installed latest expansion pack folder.

   Step 2: open your sims 2 application folder.

   For Windows click on EA Games>"Sims/Expansion pack">TSData>Res>CSConfig , Drag it to your desktop.
   
   This may need authentication with a password. ,,,, This is your problem area. , Remember caps and don't delete any spaces. , Remember not to delete spaces. ,,,, If it needs authentication, use it. , Check if everything works.

   Step 3: For Mac click on Contents>Resources>Config.

   Step 4: See that Graphics Rules.sgr file?

   Step 5: Once the Graphics Rules.sgr file is on your desktop

   Step 6: make a copy of it.

   Step 7: open the copy in TextEdit (word processor).

   Step 8: Edit>Find - Type in UI Options in the find window and click next.

   Step 9: Underneath where it says UI Options

    Step 10: it should have a few lines with 'Boolprop' or 'Intprop'.

    Step 11: Change any 'False' words to 'True'.

    Step 12: Change anything that says 2 or 3 to 0 (zero).

    Step 14: go to Edit>Find and type in boolProp useRenderTextures.

    Step 17: Save the Graphics Rules.sgr file.

    Step 19: Open up your bodyshop and create a test project.
