    Be sure to disconnect the negative terminal(-) from the battery before the installation., Do not allow any bare wiring to remain exposed., Especially the steering wheel, shift lever, parking brake, sliding seat tracks, doors, or any of the vehicle’s control mechanisms., If the insulation heats up, cables may get damaged and result in a short circuit or malfunction and cause permanent damages to the unit and the vehicle., Altering the antenna cable could result in a short circuit or malfunction.,,,
  2. Step 2: Avoid short circuits in the vehicle electrical system during installation.

  3. Step 3: Secure all wiring with cable clamps or electrical tapes.

  4. Step 4: Make sure that all cables and wires (especially the GPS antenna cable) are routed and secured so that will not be caught by any of the vehicle’s moving parts.
