Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Open the hood of the vehicle.

    CAUTION:
    Vehicle must be turned off prior to installation.
  2. Step 2: Disconnect the negative battery cable.

    WARNING:
    Make sure the negative battery cable is secured away from the positive battery terminal.

    Contact between the two battery terminals could lead to an electrical fire. ,,,,,,, Note:

    The plastic may be sharp, be sure to wear proper protection before removal.

    Open center console to access the two bolts.

  3. Step 3: Make sure the remote start harness is installed from the factory.

  4. Step 4: Install hood switch (1) and connect the electrical connector (2).

  5. Step 5: Install the hood switch stopper (1).

  6. Step 6: Remove the fuse box cover and install the remote start fuse.

  7. Step 7: Using the trim pry tool

  8. Step 8: release the two clips (1) and remove the instrument panel side cover.

  9. Step 9: Remove both instrument garnish upper side covers.

  10. Step 10: Remove the instrument panel upper cover.

  11. Step 11: Remove the shifter bezel.

  12. Step 12: Remove the heater control module (1) and disconnect the electrical connector.

  13. Step 13: Remove the radio bezel (1).

  14. Step 14: Disconnect the radio bezel electrical connector (1).

  15. Step 15: Remove the four radio bolts (1) and the radio (2).

  16. Step 16: Disconnect the radio electrical connectors (1).

  17. Step 17: Remove the center console end cap.

  18. Step 18: Remove the two center console upper bolts.

  19. Step 19: Remove the 4 center console bolts (1) and remove the center console.

  20. Step 20: Remove the lower kick panel bolt (1).

  21. Step 21: Remove the two plastic retainers (1).

  22. Step 22: Remove the lower kick panel (1).

  23. Step 23: Remove the lower steering cover bolts (1).

  24. Step 24: Remove the steering cover (1).

  25. Step 25: Remove the upper instrument panel bolts (1).

  26. Step 26: Remove the upper instrument panel.

  27. Step 27: Remove the cluster trim cover.

  28. Step 28: Remove the two cluster bolts (1) and the cluster (2).

  29. Step 29: Install the remote key less entry module (1) and secure the bolts (2).

  30. Step 30: Install the cluster (2) and the two cluster bolts (1).

  31. Step 31: Install the cluster trim cover.

  32. Step 32: Install the upper instrument panel.

  33. Step 33: Install the upper instrument panel bolts (1).

  34. Step 34: Install the steering cover (1).

  35. Step 35: Install the lower steering cover bolts (1).

  36. Step 36: Install the lower kick panel (1).

  37. Step 37: Install the two plastic retainers (1).

  38. Step 38: Install the lower kick panel bolt (1).

  39. Step 39: Install the center console and fasten the four center console bolts (1).

  40. Step 40: Install the two center console upper bolts.

  41. Step 41: Install the center console end cap.

  42. Step 42: Connect the radio electrical connectors (1).

  43. Step 43: Install the radio (2) and the four radio bolts (1).

  44. Step 44: Connect the radio bezel electrical connector (1).

  45. Step 45: Install the radio bezel (1) and connect the electrical connector.

  46. Step 46: Install the heater control module (1).

  47. Step 47: Install the shifter bezel (1).

  48. Step 48: Install the instrument panel side cover.

  49. Step 49: Connect the negative battery cable.

  50. Step 50: Test the operation.

  51. Step 51: Close the hood.
