Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Remove all the protective materials and orange color tape outside the machine.

    Close the Scanning unit cover. ,, Use Operation Panel to select the language, then press OK button. , Open Scanning unit Cover.

    Insert Ink Cartridge Holder into the Holder.

    Close Scanning unit Cover. , Wait a while for printer to adjust the Ink Cartridge. , Use Operation Panel select Wireless LAN setup, then press OK button. , Press OK button.

    Select Access point, press OK button. ,,, If AutoPlay screen not shown, go to the CD-ROM folder and right click Msetup4.exe then choose open. , Then click Next. , At the next page Click Install. , Then click Next. , It will take a while.

    When Printer Detection screen appears, click next. ,,, Now the setup is completed.

    Congratulations. ,,, Click Next. , The IP address is used to query the MAC address.

    The MAC address is used to create the actual printer port.

    The IP address can be freely reallocated.

  9. Step 9: Select Easy setup.

  12. Step 12: Insert the Setup CD-ROM in to the computer's CD-ROM drive.

  13. Step 13: Click Run Msetup4.exe on the AutoPlay screen.

  14. Step 14: Select your place of residence in the pop-up window.

  15. Step 15: Click Easy Install.

  16. Step 16: Select Use the printer on network.

  17. Step 17: Wait for the installation.

  18. Step 18: In the detected printers list

  19. Step 19: select your Printer and click Next.

  20. Step 20: Wait for printer Setup Completion window appears

  21. Step 21: click Complete.

  22. Step 22: The Printer Application Menu will appear.

  23. Step 23: Discover the printer's IP address either by Downloading and running the Canon "CanonAPChkTool" .Logging into your router and checking its "status";

  24. Step 24: Go to Printers / Add Printer / Add Wireless Printer / Stop / Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname.

  25. Step 25: Feed it the IP address that was found.

  26. Step 26: Hopefully it will install.
