Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Connect the iOS device to your computer using a USB cable.

iTunes will launch immediately upon recognizing your device.

If your device is already jailbroken, skip to Part Two of this article to install Installous.

Step 2: Click on your iOS device displayed in the left sidebar of iTunes.

,,,,, When jailbreaking is complete, Cydia will display in the app tray. ,,,,, This is the source Cydia will use to find and install Installous.,,,,,, Installous will now be displayed in the app tray on your iOS device.

Step 3: Click on “File” at the top of iTunes

Step 4: then point to “Devices.”

Step 5: Click on “Back Up.” iTunes will back up and save all personal data on your device

Step 6: since jailbreaking will wipe and erase all personal data.

Step 7: Close iTunes when the backup process is complete.

Step 8: Download and install the correct jailbreak software for your iOS device based on its firmware version.

Step 9: Launch the jailbreak software

Step 10: then follow the on-screen prompts to jailbreak your device.

Step 11: Reopen iTunes when the jailbreaking process is complete.

Step 12: Click on “File

Step 16: Launch Cydia on your iOS device and tap on “Manage.”

Step 20: ” then type “cydia.hackulo.us” into the URL field.

Step 21: Tap on “Add Source

Step 22: ” then tap on the back button to return to the Home screen of Cydia.

Step 24: ” then execute a search for “Installous.”

Step 25: Tap on “Installous 5” from the list of search results.

Step 26: Tap on “Install

Step 27: ” then tap on “Confirm” to verify you want Installous on your device.

Step 28: Tap on “Restart the Springboard” after installation is complete.

Step 29: Restart your iOS device.
