    Scrub well and use disinfectant. , This will be the base of your swing and will prevent the tire swing from becoming a breeding place for insects like mosquitoes. , Spread them out evenly on the tire. ,, Coat it with white first then your desired color.

    Allow to dry. ,, Do the same with the other U-bolts. , Have it cut into 4 feet (1.2 m) giving you 3 sets of chain for each U-bolt to attach to. , Slip it on the end of the chain. ,, Find a sturdy place to hang your swing. ,
