How to Upgrade Adobe Flash Player on Linux Mint

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Open the Terminal.

   Chromium does not come with Flash Player installed.
   
   You will be downloading and installing the Flash Player plugin from Google Chrome, which is now the only supported version of Flash.

   Step 2: Type .sudo apt-get install pepperflashplugin-nonfree and press ↵ Enter.

   You will be prompted for your administrator password.
   
   Linux Mint will download and install the plugin for Chromium. , This is an alternative installation command. , Once you've installed Flash for Chromium, it will not update automatically.
   
   You will need to run the update command periodically to check for new versions.Type sudo update-pepperflashplugin-nonfree –status and press ↵ Enter to check for updates.
   
   Type sudo update-pepperflashplugin-nonfree –install and press ↵ Enter to download and install any updates.
   
   Restart Chromium after installing updates.
