How to Change a Diaper in a Car

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Get out of the car and open the boot (trunk).

   If you don't have a mat you can use a carrier bag by carefully ripping the sides to make it big enough. ,,,, Make sure baby's bottom is positioned above new clean nappy. , Keep adding dirty wet wipes into dirty nappy. ,, Baby will be on new clean nappy.
   
   Now apply a nice coat of skin protecting cream around baby's behind and genitals. ,,, Otherwise, keep in boot until see a bin. ,,,,

   Step 2: Clear space in the boot for baby and check for sharp things.

   Step 3: Lay down a nappy (diaper) changing mat.

   Step 4: Lay new nappy down in middle of mat.

   Step 5: Place wet wipes and empty carrier bag by mat.

   Step 6: Get baby out of car.

   Step 7: Lay baby down on changing mat or carrier bag.

   Step 8: Open dirty nappy and clean bottom with wet wipes.

   Step 9: Lift baby and clean behind.

    Step 10: Whilst lifting

    Step 11: slide dirty nappy out.

    Step 12: Place dirty nappy with wipes into nappy bag/carrier bag and tie up the bag.

    Step 13: Do up clean nappy.

    Step 14: Dispose of dirty nappy in the bag

    Step 16: Use antibacterial alcohol wash on hands.

    Step 17: Kiss baby.
