Step 1: Put the Pokémon you want to train on the front of your roster.
(Grass, ocean, or fishing.) , Keep on fighting until the opponent's Pokémon or wild Pokémon runs out of HP and faints.
For each Pokémon you cause to faint, you will get a certain amount of experience points depending on the species of Pokémon and sometimes whether it's a trained Pokémon or a wild Pokémon. -
Step 2: Find either trainers to battle or an area where there are wild Pokémon.
