   A hard reset will erase all of your settings and will make you set it up like you bought it brand new.This method only erases the settings data and will not erase any gamecard info,, Using a Philips Head Screwdriver (#00), unscrew the cover that holds the battery.,,, It should tell you that you need to set the system up.
