  2. Step 2: Download the Multiplayer beta server software.

    You can do this at "http://www.minecraft.net/download.jsp".

    Notice, if you download the .jar version, you must launch it as "java
    -Xmx1024M
    -Xms1024M
    -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui"

    Go to "http://portforward.com/"

    scroll down and find your router model number. ,,,, To get the IP of the server, go to "http://www.whatsmyip.org/" and get your computers IP.
