Step 1: Clean the yoga mat.
Glue a little, then press.

Step 2: Identify the two sides

Step 16: Cut a strip from the leftover mat that's about 3/4" wide

Step 17: and 2.5 times the length of the flip flop.

Step 18: Put one end of the strap through the hole.

Step 19: Bring the strap around and under the flip flop

Step 20: making sure the smooth side of the strap faces the outer edge of the flip flop.

Step 21: Bring the other end of the strap through the hole and cut the excess.

Step 22: Try it on and adjust the straps through the hole until you have a comfortable fit.

Step 23: Trim both sides of the strip on the bottom of the flip flop as needed.

Step 24: Glue down the middle part with a hot glue gun.

Step 25: Glue this layer onto the other four layers.

Step 26: Repeat the steps above to create another flip flop.

Step 27: Flip your flip flops over and use a glue gun to create treads on the bottom.
