Step 1: Lay the envelope open and flat on the cardstock.

Make a dotted line first, then connect the dots. , It should look like this image. , Take care to glue it inside the inner line! , Glue the resulting flaps to the cardstock.
Cut the round part to "teeth" of 1 centimeter (0.4 in) /0.4" wide before gluing.
Take care not to cut the cardstock! , Matching or contrasting, whatever you like. ,,, Hand (or send) it to the happy recipient! -
