How to Add a Watermark to Images in Paint.Net

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Open Paint.Net.

   Click "Layers" then "Add New Layer".
   
   Alternatively you can press Ctrl+Shift+N. , This button has a "T" on it. ,,,, (Usually Layer 2) This will bring up "Layer Properties". ,, You can play around with the opacity a bit to suit your need.
   
   The higher the opacity number, the more it "shows". , This can be done by pressing the "Merge Layer" button in the "Layers" box. , If you want to keep the original photo, select "save-as" then rename the file.

   Step 2: Open your image in Paint.Net.

   Step 3: Add a new layer.

   Step 4: Go to tools and select the "text" button.

   Step 5: On the colors window choose the white as your color.

   Step 6: Click on the area of the picture you want your text to be in.

    Step 11: Change the "Layer Mode" from "normal" to "overlay".
