Step 2: Create a black to white gradient.
Select the gradient tool, and, from the center of the canvas, click and drag to the bottom. , This is easily done, just click the "add layer" button on the Layers box. , This will open a dialogue box with a few options.
On the drop-down menu within, select "Overlay" and click OK. , From the effects menu, choose "Render" and then "Clouds." On the drop-down menu that appears set the blend mode to "Difference." Then, click OK. , Use the key combination "Control + F" to repeat the rendering of the clouds twice.
They should now look like colorless flames. , This is possible by going to the "Image" menu and selecting "Flatten."
This will open a dialogue box with a graph. ,, This will give the flames the colors ranging from red to yellow. , -
