Step 1: Cut the straw into three parts
Click on the image to enlarge, if needed. ,, Do this until it sits flat.,,, Cut a small ring from an intact piece of straw; this will be used to slip over the longer pieces and hold them together.,, Thread the loop over both pieces.
Push it until it reaches the center.
Bend the straw part that has the flexible or concertina piece. , Loop one side of the
8.5cm (3.3") piece and tuck it into the loop or ring.
Repeat with the remaining side.
The ribbon or bow is made. , Make any adjustments needed., Trim fancy ends if wished. -
