Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Go to My Computer.

    In most computers, it is usually (C:). , , Open the folder. , Open the folder. , ,, Close all the files and folders and look for a shortcut of the file named "hosts" in which you just created.

  3. Step 3: Open the folder named "Windows."

  4. Step 4: Look for your "System 32" folder.

  5. Step 5: Search for a folder named "Drivers."

  6. Step 6: Open the folder "Etc" and look for a file named "Hosts."

  7. Step 7: Right click on the file "hosts" and click on "Send it as a shortcut to desktop" menu.

  8. Step 8: Go to your desktop.

  9. Step 9: We can block the Paltalk advertising and pop-ups by simply editing this host file.

  10. Step 10: Right-click on the desktop and and open a new notepad.

  11. Step 11: Type in two lines www.exit.paltalk.com and www.advertising.paltalk.com.

  12. Step 12: Type the above lines in the following format to get results:

  14. Step 14: 127.0.0.1 advertising.paltalk.com

  15. Step 15: after doing this add all the following sites in the same manner with 127.0.0.1 in front of each line.

  54. Step 54: Go to your Paltalk program

  56. Step 56: and you will see no advertising

  57. Step 57: no popups all you will see is "page cannot be displayed" in the banners and no pop ups will appear.
