Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Sign into iTunes (v10) and plug in your iPod Touch.

    Note: do not let your iPod Touch sync.

    Unplug after you have plugged in your iPod Touch and iTunes.

    And then immediately re-plug your iPod into iTunes.
