Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Start by opening any graphic file.

    For this tutorial we're using a screwdriver.
  2. Step 2: Hide Artboards.

    Go to the View menu, then select Hide Artboards.

    Alternately, you can use the shortcut Shift + Command + H (PC:
    Shift + Ctrl + H). , From the File menu, choose Document Setup... or press Option+Command+P(PC:
    Ctrl + Alt + P). , In the resulting Document Setup dialog, set the top grid color as desired.

    After choosing the colors, enable the Simulate Colored Paper checkbox, then click OK. ,
  3. Step 3: Edit the Document Setup.

  4. Step 4: Edit the top grid color.

  5. Step 5: You now have changed the background color of your graphic file.
