How to Change the Difficulty in Skyrim
Open your Quests, General Stats, and System menu., Scroll to System., Scroll down to Settings and select it., Change the difficulty., Exit the menu.

Step 1: Open your Quests
This is different than the one where you go through your inventory, skills, magic, and map.
When you open the Quests menu, you will be looking at your current quests. -
Step 2: General Stats
This is located on the far right. , Three options will appear to the right. , Select “Gameplay” then scroll down to “Difficulty” and select your desired level:
Novice – the easiest level Apprentice – the default on your first playthrough Adept Expert Master Legendary – the toughest difficulty, and is likely to make all but the most experienced players too frustrated to continue. , It will automatically save when you back out of the Gameplay portion of the menu. -
Step 3: and System menu.
