How to Close a Case on eBay

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Go to eBay’s website at http://www.ebay.com/.

   Your options will be, “I want to end communication with the buyer,” and “The buyer and I have completed this transaction successfully.” , For example, if you and a Buyer have willingly agreed to cancel a transaction, type “Buyer has agreed to cancel the transaction and the item will not be sent out.” ,

   Step 2: Click on “Sign in” at the upper left corner and log in to eBay with your username and password.

   Step 3: Visit the eBay Resolution Center at http://resolutioncenter.ebay.com/.

   Step 4: Scroll down to the section labeled “Your cases” and click on the case you want closed.

   Step 5: Select your reason for wanting to close the case.

   Step 6: Type in any comments or details about the case you wanted saved on file into the message box provided.

   Step 7: Click on “Close Case.” That particular case will now be officially closed and cannot be reopened
