  1. Step 1: First open your digital editing program of choice.

    Microsoft Paint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, iPhoto, Photoshop Elements, Gimp (free and powerful open source editing and graphic design software), or maybe a free editor that came on the software disk for your camera.
  2. Step 2: Make a copy of the picture you want to fix (it is a great practice to NEVER work on the original digital photo

    Click once on it, press CTRL C to copy it, and then press CTRL V to paste it. ,, Others may zoom in and you will be able to draw a circle around the iris to edit it. (Different editing programs have their own styles of removing red eye). , If not automatic then color in the iris black or a dark gray with your paint brush. ,
