Remove or fence off all sources of water.
Because woodchucks are good climbers, chewers, and diggers, fences should be at least 3 feet (0.9 m) high (1 m), made of heavy-grade chicken wire, and buried 10 to 12 inches (25 to 30 cm) below ground. -
