Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: For this to work
He/she must be currently unmarried. -
Step 2: make sure you have either a female or male Sim living in your neighborhood.
, Provide him with a good-sized house and suitable furniture for two Sims (e.g. a double bed, two bathrooms, a good sized dining table, etc.). , Note that you will need to have "free will" turned on.
This can be altered in the 'Settings' tab. , This is easier if you keep both Sims unemployed, and they are the only people living in your neighborhood.

Step 14: Do anything you can to get both relationship bars to 70.

Step 15: kiss and do anything it takes to create the pink heart symbol by their relationship bars.

Step 16: After a while of talking

Step 17: kissing and hugging

Step 18: and a decent meal

Step 19: the option to 'propose' should be in their menu.

Step 21: Also be aware that if the sim who is proposed TO accept
