  1. Step 1: Setup in a kickflip position.

    The back foot isn't important, you just need to pop the board and get it out of the way.
  2. Step 2: Pop down the board and start flipping the kickflip.

    Try not to flick too hard, and make sure you keep your front foot with your board.

    A good way to practice this is to do a half kickflip and just catch it with your front foot. , It is helpful to try to control your board as much as possible here so that you can bring it closer to you if you need it. , It is perfectly acceptable though to not get the board completely upside down while you are learning it though.
