Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Link the strings together at the middle.

Do the same with the green string, except use the top string. , Then thread it through the green loop. ,,,,, Keep knotting to desired length. , Make sure they intersect at the middle of each strand. , Take the ends of the horizontal strand and cross them over your finger.

Bring them to the opposite ends. , Let the vertical ends cross over your finger and under the horizontal strand on the farther side. ,, Bend the strand nearest opposite you to make one loop.

Bend the other strand nearest to you to make another loop opposite you. , Then thread it through the second loop farthest it. , Then thread it through the second loop farthest it. , Continue for as long as you need the knot to be. ,
  2. Step 2: Put the bottom red string over the top red string.

  3. Step 3: Put the red string

  4. Step 4: (the one at the side)

  5. Step 5: over the red loop.

  6. Step 6: Do the same with the side green loop.

  7. Step 7: Pull it tight.

  8. Step 8: Put the green strings over

  9. Step 9: as shown in the picture.

  10. Step 10: Thread the red strings through the green loops.

  11. Step 11: Pull tight.

  12. Step 12: Place one strand horizontal and another vertical on top of it.

  13. Step 13: Put your finger on top of the intersection.

  14. Step 14: Weave the vertical strands through the horizontal.

  15. Step 15: Pull all four ends to tighten into a knot.

  16. Step 16: Make two loops over the center with the horizontal strand.

  17. Step 17: Pass one vertical string over the horizontal loop nearest it.

  18. Step 18: Pass the second vertical string over the horizontal loop nearest it.

  19. Step 19: Pull all four strings together.

  20. Step 20: Finished!
