Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Gather your materials.

    You will need: 4 un-sharpened pencils, 1 old and crummy pen, one rubber band, a lot of masking tape, and some creativity.
  2. Step 2: Divide the 4 pencils into two groups of two and tape each group of two pencils together.

    ,, You will need them for later. ,, Make sure that you are taking the two sides of the rubber band and taping them together. ,, Let its end stick out slightly. ,,, Use your creativity and anything you can find to decorate your crossbow! , You will need, a paper plate and markers ,,,,,,,,,, Be creative! Some good ideas are, toothpicks, tin foil, skewers, paper clips, and there are many other ways you can make them too.

  3. Step 3: Tape one group of pencils on the other group of pencils to form a "t" shape.

  4. Step 4: Take apart the pen and save all the parts.

  5. Step 5: Tape the empty pen tube on the main bar of the t. This will be your loader.

  6. Step 6: Take your rubber band and wrap the middle of it in tape.

  7. Step 7: Slide the rubber band onto the crossbow by suspending it in between the two pencils that run across the t. This will be the cradle of your launcher.

  8. Step 8: Take the ink jet of the pen and put it through the tube.

  9. Step 9: Pull back your rubber band and release

  10. Step 10: Use the cap of the pen to close it when you are done.

  11. Step 11: Be Creative!

  12. Step 12: Gather your materials.

  14. Step 14: Use a ruler to mark the center of the plate.

  15. Step 15: Draw an even circle around the center of the plate.
