Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Open the InDesign application.

    Start a new Document. , Scroll over to New it will open up three options, select Document.

    You can also open new Document by pressing Ctrl-N for (Windows) and Command-N for (Mac). , Also select how many pages and if it will be printed or not., Find the picture in your hard drive and open it., Or press Ctrl-D (windows) Command-D (mac)., Go to View, then Display Performance, then High Quality Performance to change the picture to high quality., Click on Text (T) on the left panel.

    Choose where to place the text and then change the Font and Font style at the top., Draw a box by choosing Box on left panel.,,,, Make it something that can be easily read.

    You can change all of these settings at the top.

    Select the color of the text with Eyedropper.

    Click on the Eyedropper on the left panel.

    Drag it on almost half of the flyer and it will pick up all the colors.

    Choose the color that is appealing to you. , Go to Object and click on Generate QR Code., Type the website URL in the box and click OK.

    Place the QR code wherever you would like., Go to File and click on Save As… to save the document as InDesign File.

    You can name it whatever you would like.

    Select the destination to save the file.,, Then click Save.,,

  16. Step 16: Click on File and then Export in order to print you must export to PDF first.

  17. Step 17: Change the format to Adobe PDF (print) by using the drop down menu.

  18. Step 18: Select High Quality Print on the next popup menu and click Export.

  19. Step 19: Open the PDF file and print your flyer.
