Step 1: Find a large cardboard box.
Once you are done designing them, cut them out with scissors . , To reinforce it, take a large ruler, and cut the ruler (with a saw) until it has the same point as your sword and is the same size as the cardboard cutout. ,, Press down really hard to make a blade edge. , Make sure the yarn is in one piece, to minimize bumps from knots on the handle. ,, This will make your handle softer and easier to grip. , BE CREATIVE!!! Use a wide variety of colors.
Now you have a wonderful sword and shield play set! , Get the cardboard cutout that you had cutout before, and turn it over to the side that you don't want the design on. ,, This will make the place that you put your arm through to hold it. ,,,,,,,, -

-
Step 21: (one should be longer than the other one)
-
Step 22: Stick the two together
-
Step 23: but make sure you leave sticky edges on both side so you can stick it onto the back of the shield.
-
Step 24: Position it on the bottom left side of the shield if you are right handed
-
Step 25: and if you're left handed
-
Step 26: put it on the bottom
-
Step 27: right side of the shield.
-
Step 28: Repeat number 14
-
Step 29: only make the duct tape pieces smaller
-
Step 30: because this will be where you grip the shield.
-
Step 31: Stick this on the corner diagonal from the arm rest.
-
Step 32: Reinforce the grip and rest with smaller pieces of duct tape
-
Step 33: so they won't come off when you are swinging the shield around.
-
Step 34: Now that you have finished the back
-
Step 35: turn it over and draw out your own coat of arms (design) on the front.
-
Step 36: Once you are sure you have the design you want
-
Step 37: paint your design with any color you want.
-
Step 38: Let it dry for about day (depending on the paint you used
-
Step 39: it might be longer or shorter).
-
Step 40: (OPTIONAL) Get some tin or aluminium foil and wrap it around the sword blade and tape it together to get the shine and metal-like color.
