Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Cut two of a vertical oval with a horizontal oval on top of it (combined so they are one shape) out of brown felt.

    (Tip put two pieces of brown felt on top of each other, draw the shape on the felt and cut them out at the same time).
  2. Step 2: Cut a medium sized circle out of tan felt

    ,, Now put a dot of glue in the middle of each circle, now press them onto the shape we made in step
    1. , Draw an upside down triangle, and two u’s coming out of it.

    Now it is time for the tricky part; you have to sew the two brown shapes together. , Pull it through so both ends of the thread meet.

    Tie them in a knot. ,, If you feel your stitches are too loose pull your needle.

    Now you are finished sewing, you should have some extra thread so cut it right before the needle.

    Now tie the two pieces of thread together. ,, Using the way you did before, sew the rest of the bottom closed. ,,

  10. Step 10: Cut a two-foot long piece of brown thread

  11. Step 11: and put it through the hole in the top of the needle.

  12. Step 12: Set up the two brown shapes so that the one with the stuff glued on to it is facing inward

  13. Step 13: because you will turn this inside out later.

  14. Step 14: Sew around the edges by looping around the side all the way around except for the bottom.

  15. Step 15: Turn the bear inside out.

  16. Step 16: Put cotton balls in through the hole in the bottom until the bear is full.
