  1. Step 1: Open Red Laser on your smart device.

    A smartphone is easier to work with for something like this, than a tablet.
  2. Step 2: Click on the 'paper' at the bottom right of your device.

    You are creating a list. , Type in the name that you want to use for your list. , At the bottom of your created list, you will see that sheet of 'paper' with a plus sign beside it.

    Select it. ,, This allows you to select more than one item.

    Obviously, you won't select this option if you want to scan only one. ,, Choose your method of sharing it.

    You want to be able to access it on your computer. ,
  3. Step 3: At the bottom

  4. Step 4: select 'CREATE A LIST'.

  5. Step 5: Add to the list.

  6. Step 6: Select the 'Scan an item' option.

  7. Step 7: Be sure that you don't have your device pointing at a UPC code and select MULTISCAN.

  8. Step 8: Start scanning your items.
