  1. Step 1: Create the apples.

    Cut the veggie ham into two apple shapes.

    If you have an apple cookie cutter or sushi cutter shape, use those instead.

    Cut the cheese into a half of each apple, as shown in the image.

    Lay on the apple.

    Add three black sesame seeds to each apple half to form the pips.

    Place a layer of pan-friend tofu cutlet(s) at the base of the bento container about a little under three quarters of the length of the bento container.

    Sprinkle the cutlet with garlic powder for flavor, if desired.
