  1. Step 1: Switch to a different mode on your Kindle.

    Use the "By Collections" mode to organize your books. ,, The bar will be slightly underneath the collection's name.

    You'll also see two arrows pointing to the left and right of this black bar. , This should bring up another menu of options. ,, This will send back a message to you reminding you that there are still books in this collection, and that it will delete the collection, and move the books back into the non-Collections/non-Archived group of books. ,
  2. Step 2: Make sure you are back at the first page of non-archived books

  3. Step 3: or the page that contains the collection you'd like to remove.

  4. Step 4: Make sure the selection bar is highlighting the collection you'd like to remove.

  5. Step 5: Press the right arrow key on the 5-way controller.

  6. Step 6: Move the cursor/highlighter around the screen until you get to the "Remove Collection" or "Delete Collection" choice

  7. Step 7: which should be the third item from the top of the list.

  8. Step 8: Press the Select key that is found in the center of the device's 5-way controller.

  9. Step 9: Press the select button at the center of the 5-way controller

  10. Step 10: since the device automatically sends the default action to the "ok" button in the message.
