Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Unscrew the screw in the battery box under the battery (remove the battery and it is the screw on the top left corner of the battery compartment).

    This is very hard to do and may hurt your hands!!
  2. Step 2: Unscrew the screw on the bottom left of the battery compartment (this will be under the warranty sticker).

    , There are two little holes to stick your screwdriver into. (If the screw won't come out after you have completely unscrewed, turn your PSP over and shake it so that the screw falls into your hand.) , If you hold your PSP like you are playing it and turn it up you will see it. ,, Lift at the bottom and the top will come out.
