Step 1: Check your Skype Audio settings.
It’s possible that the wrong audio output is selected in your Skype audio settings.

Windows:
Click “Tools” and then “Options,” then click “Audio settings” on the left.
Choose the correct speakers from the “Speakers” drop-down, then click “Save.” Mac:
Click “Preferences” in the Skype menu (at the top of the screen) and make sure the proper speakers are selected next to “Speakers.” -
Step 2: Make sure your speakers or headphones are plugged in and turned on.
