How to Make a Bike Wheel Chandelier

   Step 1: Find an old bike rim.

   Use a wrench or vice-grip pliers to remove the hub. , Be sure to remove any dirt, grease and rust that remains on the wheel. ,,, Pull the wire until the bulb socket reaches the end of the hub. , Position the curtain rod on the center of the bike rim. , This will prevent the parts from moving out of position when the chandelier is hung. ,, Connect the wire to a power source. , Congratulation, you're done!

   Step 2: Remove the wheel hub shell.

   Step 3: Clean it thoroughly.

   Step 4: Obtain a pendant lighting kit.

   Step 5: Cut a shower curtain rod so that it is about 20 inches (50.8 cm) long (depending on the height of your ceiling)

   Step 6: Insert end of the pendant light through the hub.

   Step 7: Insert the end of the wire into the pre-cut shower curtain rod.

   Step 8: Make a knot (wire) on the end of the rod to secure the wire.
