Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Click here to get the images for the card.

    Print out the base page of the pig on a piece of heavy paper, like cardstock or construction paper.

    Printing the image at 175% makes for a nice sized card.
  2. Step 2: Now print out the pieces of the pig on a piece of heavy paper

    If you printed the base page a size other than the default, you must also print the pieces out at that size. ,,,, Crease well and unfold. , Crease well and unfold.

    Repeat for left tab.

    Set aside. , Crease well.

    Unfold. , Crease well and unfold.

    Repeat for the left tab. , Crease well and unfold.

    Repeat this on the left lower tab.

    Set aside. , Crease well and unfold.

    Set aside. , Crease it well and unfold. , Crease well and unfold. , Crease well and unfold.

    Repeat for the other ear. , Unfold. ,, Make sure the middle line of the card matches the middle line of the leg piece.

    Press firmly and be sure to let the glue dry. ,,, Make sure the middle line of the card matches the middle line of the head piece.

    Press firmly and let the glue dry. ,,, Make sure the bottom tab lines up with its corresponding shape (Glue Here 6). ,, Press firmly and let dry. ,,, Make sure that the middle line of the nose piece matches the head piece middle line. ,, Press both sides firmly and let dry. , Close the pig card all the way. , Your pig is finished! You can now add a tail and color your pop-up! ,
  3. Step 3: like cardstock or construction paper.

  4. Step 4: Press along the dotted lines on all the pop-up pieces with the rounded end of a paper clip (or a ballpoint pen that has run out of ink)

  5. Step 5: using a ruler as a guide.

  6. Step 6: Carefully cut out the card following the solid

  7. Step 7: black lines.

  8. Step 8: Cut out all the pig pieces following the solid

  9. Step 9: black lines.

  10. Step 10: Fold the leg piece along the center dotted line (away from you).

  11. Step 11: Fold the right tab at the top of the piece and along the dotted line

  12. Step 12: towards you.

  13. Step 13: Fold the pig head piece along the center dotted line (away from you).

  14. Step 14: Fold the right tab of the head piece along the dotted line

  15. Step 15: towards you.

  16. Step 16: Select the lower right tab of the head piece and fold it along the dotted line

  17. Step 17: away from you.

  18. Step 18: Fold the nose piece down the middle dotted line towards you.

  19. Step 19: Fold the ears starting by folding down the middle dotted line away from you.

  20. Step 20: Fold one tab along the dotted line towards you.

  21. Step 21: Fold the other tab along the dotted line towards you.

  22. Step 22: Fold the card piece in half along the dotted line

  23. Step 23: towards you.

  24. Step 24: Apply a small amount of glue on to the grey area marked “Glue Here 1”.

  25. Step 25: Align the right tab of the leg piece with the “Glue Here 1” area.

  26. Step 26: Glue the left tab of the leg piece to the gray area marked "Glue Here 2" in the same way as was done with the right tab.

  27. Step 27: Apply a small amount of glue onto the grey area marked “Glue Here 3”.

  28. Step 28: Align the right tab of the head piece with the “Glue Here 3” area.

  29. Step 29: Glue the left tab of the head piece to the "Glue Here 4" area

  30. Step 30: following the same procedure as with the right tab.

  31. Step 31: Apply a small amount of glue onto the grey area marked “Glue Here 5”.

  32. Step 32: Line up the top tab of the right ear piece with the “Glue Here 5” area and press down.

  33. Step 33: Apply a small amount of glue onto the grey area marked “Glue Here 6”.

  34. Step 34: Take the right ear piece and line up the bottom tab with “Glue Here 6” area.

  35. Step 35: Glue the left ear piece onto areas "Glue Here 7" and "Glue Here 8" in the same way you did with the right ear piece.

  36. Step 36: Apply a small amount of glue onto the grey area marked “Glue Here 9”.

  37. Step 37: Line up the right side of the nose piece with the “Glue Here 9” area.

  38. Step 38: Apply a small amount of glue onto the grey area marked “Glue Here 10”.

  39. Step 39: Line up the left side of the nose piece with “Glue Here 10” area.

  40. Step 40: Make sure all the pieces are completely dry before closing.

  41. Step 41: Open the card watch the pig pop up at you.

  42. Step 42: Glue the left tab of the leg piece to the gray area marked
