Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Adjust the horizontal rule.

    If you want a horizontal guideline, then click on the top ruler and move it down to where you need it.
  2. Step 2: Adjust the vertical guideline.

    For a vertical guideline, click on the ruler on the left side of your screen and pull over to where you need it. , Select the Move tool, click on the guidelines and move them off of the screen.
  3. Step 3: Remove them when you don't need them.
