Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Open Foursquare.

    Tap the app icon on your phone screen to open it.

    If you don’t have an account yet, you may choose to log in using your Facebook account or your email.
  2. Step 2: Search for the place you want to check in to.

    Tap the magnifying glass icon on the upper part of the screen and type the name of the location you’re searching for.

    Tap the name of the place you’re looking for in the results.

    You will now see the place’s profile page. ,, You will be asked to choose where you want to get your photos:
    Use the Camera – Open your camera app, take a photo and add it.

    Pick from Gallery – Select from photos you currently have on your phone.

    After you’ve selected a photo to attach, you’ll see the photo is now displayed on the status prompt next to where you’ll type your status. ,
  3. Step 3: Tap the “Check in Here” button.

  4. Step 4: Tap “Add Photo.” It’s located on the lower right of the status prompt.

  5. Step 5: Tap “Check in.” You’re check-in now has a photo that your friends or anyone who checks in the same place can see!
