Step 1: Start out with a square image.
For the purposes of this article, it will be 640 X
640. -
Step 2: Go to Filters >> Render >> Clouds >> Solid Noise.
, Change the detail to 3 or
4. , Don't change anything and click on OK. , Take the white slider on the right side and drag to the left until it is around
180. ,, Be sure the square is centered, click on Zoom and set the length to around

Note the progress so far.
The zoom from the center is fairly obvious. , Set the whirl angle to about

You can adjust other settings if you want. ,,, You can also change the pinch or radius if you want. ,,, -
Step 3: Click the box beside Randomize and Turbulent.

Step 4: Click on Filter >> Render >> Clouds >> Difference Clouds.

Step 5: Go to Colors >> Levels.

Step 6: Now take the gray slider in the middle and push that to the left to about 1.80.

Step 7: Click on Filters >> Blur >> Motion Blur.

Step 8: Go to Filters >> Distorts >> Whirl and Pinch.

Step 9: Click on Layer >> Duplicate Layer...

Step 10: Be sure that the top layer is selected and click on Filters >> Re-show Whirl and Pinch.

Step 11: Reverse the whirl by setting to about -400.

Step 12: Go to the layer tab and select mode and select 'Lighten Only'.

Step 13: Right click on the image

Step 14: go to Image >> Flatten.

Step 15: Colorize your image.
