Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Open up your image in Gimp and duplicate it.

    You don't want to make changes to your original image and then not have it.
  2. Step 2: Click on the Text icon in the toolbar and then select a fat font (easier to read).

    , You can adjust it after you have placed it. ,, This will make the text in its own layer. ,, Set the setting under Scale >> Transform to Layer by clicking on the red square. , Click scale. ,,,,,,,, Click on File >> Save As.

    Be sure to save it as a PNG to preserve the transparency.
