Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: While at your desktop screen

    This will pop-up a menu with many features.
  2. Step 2: on the bottom task bar

    If the button is not available, you can type "Run" in the search bar and it will come up with the program.

    Left-click the button 'Run' to begin the program. ,,,, This will change tabs to Display that will show you all of the display components of your computer. ,
  3. Step 3: left-click the "Start" button

  4. Step 4: or Windows Icon.

  5. Step 5: Look for the button labeled "Run" which can typically be found beneath the "Search" button or bar.

  6. Step 6: Once you have clicked run

  7. Step 7: a small box white box will appear on the bottom left of your screen with a search bar.

  8. Step 8: Type "dxdiag" without the quotation marks in that bar

  9. Step 9: and press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard

  10. Step 10: or click OK.

  11. Step 11: After pressing 'Enter'

  12. Step 12: a DirectX Diagnostic Tools box will appear on your screen; this screen will have many tabs on it.

  13. Step 13: Click on the tab labeled 'Display'.

  14. Step 14: While looking under the tab labeled 'Display'

  15. Step 15: there will be a section labeled 'Device' which will tell you all of your graphics card specifications

  16. Step 16: as well as which drivers are currently installed for that graphics card.
