Step 1: before filming any "actor" film the background behind "where you will be standing" on a tripod (or on a table if you don't have a tripod.
Make sure you don't move the camera at all. -
Step 2: Step into the frame without moving the camera
Than move your head as if it was floating. , (be sure to cut out you walking into the frame from the background shot. ,,, Now all you have to do is play around with the sliders under the color picker until it looks good. (you may need to add the "color keyer" effect more than once and select another shade of green if there's still unkeyed parts of the cloth. -
Step 3: making sure to cover your whole body with the green cloth only leave your head.

Step 4: Import your footage into "After Effects" and cut the video in between where you filmed the background and you in the frame.

Step 5: Make sure the green cloth footage is directly on top of the background layer.

Step 6: Now either search for the "color keyer" effect in the effects menu

Step 7: or select it from the drop down menu

Step 8: called "effects" and drag it into the top layer(Green Cloth Layer)

Step 9: Select the color selector in the effect controls and pick "what you think is the best shade of green" on the footage

Step 10: you will see your body will start to disappear.
