  3. Step 3: Create a new document.

  4. Step 4: Change the file name to whatever you like and choose the size you want the canvas to be (Remember that you are limited to what size stretcher bars you have when you come to mount).

  5. Step 5: We need to add a few more millimetres to the image to give us a little more image to wrap round the stretcher bars (without this step the image will look odd on the frame and you will be able to see white outlines when the print is stretched).

  6. Step 6: You should have two images open in Photoshop (The image you want to print and a blank white file).

  7. Step 7: Resize the image by holding either the 'Shift' or 'Alt' key (depending on which Photoshop version you are using

  8. Step 8: holding this key maintains the aspect ratio so you do not distort the image) and click the corner of the image and drag to resize.

  9. Step 9: Click the 'Tick' or hit the 'Enter' key on your keyboard to confirm the resize.

  10. Step 10: Click Layer>Merge Visible.

  11. Step 11: A bleed needs to be added so that we have enough canvas to wrap around the frame (stretcher bars).

  12. Step 12: Click File>Save As and change the format to 'JPEG' and click 'Save'.

  13. Step 13: Make sure the quality is set to 'Large File and click 'OK'.
