Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Get the WordPress Publication Archive plug-in on your blog.

    Go to plug-ins and click 'install new'.

    Search WP Publication Archive and install it to your WP blog.
  2. Step 2: After you install and activate the plug-in

    On your side dashboard in your back office, you will find a New Publications heading.

    Click on it and once the page opens, click 'add new'.

    You will see a normal article start page. ,, You can also drag and drop files here. ,,, This will load a preset URL that will be used for the downloading the page. , You need to copy the URL that appears in the publication line above the upload publication.

    The preset URL from the blog should be there. , Click on 'pages'

    then click 'add new'. , Upload that picture to your media library. , So the page is very basic.

    Headline says something like, Thank you for confirming your subscription.

    Access your download below. , This will take you to your media library where you can find your download now button.

    Click on that and set it up for your page.

    This will employ some ALT text, and then the URL you copied from the publication page and set it up to link to a custom URL, and then put that URL into the link to box.

    Make it center justification and then click insert into post If you have done this right, your page should be neat and clean with it all center justification. , Make the password simple and then include the password in the email that gets sent to have them confirm the subscription.
