  1. Step 1: Open the Settings app.

     Press the Start button and then the Settings gear on the lower left corner of the menu. ,,, On the page, there will be a simplified view that categorizes functions such as your default music player and web browser.

    To set the defaults, simply click on the existing app icon or + button if it hasn't been set yet.

    For further advanced settings, scroll down and select the link that opens the settings you need to change.

    The following additional default app settings are available:
